Derbyshire Wedding

Amber and Jack tied the knot on a spectacular weekend in April. The weather has generally been on our side, but we are especially thankful for spring days that feel more like summer.

Getting Ready

The bride and her entourage had their hair and makeup done in The Cottage. The bride’s dress hung in the window and rings were staged for photos.

The groom and his groomsmen geared up for the big day in The Post Office.

Ceremony

Amber made her grand entrance on the brick aisle outside. The sky was so blue and the open plains made for a quiet, intimate ceremony.

Cocktail Hour

Just after tying the knot, The Derbyshires headed down to the chapel to celebrate their nuptials with a private cocktail hour. They poured champagne and delighted in their special day.

Tip: We highly recommend this if you’d like a quiet moment with your partner to relish in your marriage before celebrating with your guests. A few of our couples have chosen this route and it allows them to have those first few minutes of marriage alone.

Reception

Green runners lined their reception tables in the barn with gold and black table settings. Greenery and light florals added some texture and elegance. The color scheme coordinated magnificently with the wooden charm of the barn interior.

Amber and Jack were a dream to work with. Witnessing all the hard work in wedding planning finally come to fruition is a feeling we’ll never tire of. Congratulations to this beautiful couple— we wish you a lifetime of happiness!
